Why I Love Abidjan (And Why You Will Too!) 🌆❤️

When people ask me why I love Abidjan, I smile — because the answer is so big, it doesn’t fit in a sentence. From the rich culture to the unbeatable energy of the city, Abidjan isn’t just home — it’s an experience.
Whether you’ve visited or not, I believe everyone deserves to feel what it’s like to live in one of the most vibrant cities on Earth. Here’s why I believe Abidjan stands tall — even above many countries around the world.
🏙️ 1. The City That Never Sleeps
Abidjan is alive 24/7. From night markets and food spots in Cocody and Marcory to live music and clubs in Zone 4 and Plateau, the city’s energy never fades. Unlike some cities that feel cold or quiet, Abidjan wraps you in warmth, rhythm, and laughter.
🍲 2. The Food is Next-Level
From garba and attieke-poisson to luxury fusion restaurants, Abidjan serves flavors you won’t find anywhere else. Street food culture is strong — and affordable. Whether you’re eating local or international, the food scene here is full of heart and taste.
🌍 3. A True Mix of Cultures
Abidjan is a melting pot of Ivorians, Africans from across the continent, and people from around the world. There’s a spirit of inclusion and tolerance here that makes it feel like a global village with African pride.
🖨️ 4. Great Place to Start a Business (like mine!)
The entrepreneurial spirit here is unmatched. Whether you run a printing shop, salon, or fashion brand, Abidjan is buzzing with demand, creativity, and support. My own business, RINZNA SERVICES, grew thanks to the city’s openness to innovation and quality.
🏞️ 5. Beauty at Every Corner
From the lagoon views to palm-lined roads, there’s a natural beauty to Abidjan that often goes unnoticed. Take a walk on the bridges at sunset, visit Banco National Park, or chill at Assinie beach — you’ll be surprised this is all in one city.
🤝 6. The People Make It Special
No matter how modern the city gets, Ivorians don’t lose their sense of community. People smile, help each other, and take time to talk. It’s not just about living here — it’s about feeling alive here.
✈️ Why Everyone Should Experience Abidjan
Travelers often look for Paris, New York, or Dubai — but Abidjan offers something different: authentic joy. Whether you’re visiting for work, starting fresh, or building a dream, this city gives you room to grow and feel inspired.
So if you’re looking for a place to belong, to build, to enjoy, my advice is simple:
✨ Come to Abidjan. Stay a while. You might fall in love like I did.

Côte d’Ivoire is taking the image of the USA in Africa, or that of France in Africa. The country’s lasting legacy has made it a top priority for visitors visiting de la Côte d’Ivoire to intensionally have a feel of USA and France all packaged in go; this is why the city of Abidjan is nicknamed the “PETIT PARIS”, and it is, and craves to continue encouraging that notion that Côte d’Ivoire is home for all races, with the willingness and ability to foster a common path to economic prosperity for all. It plans to be a location where everybody will come together, rendering services to one another, like that of the USA, and have Africa booming with an economy notable for concessions.
